Learn Chess like Never Before

Between the Olympiad and the Olympics
There is undoubtedly a very big gap between the Olympiad and the Olympics which of course cannot be easily closed; this hiatus is as a result of the fact that the latter enjoys a lot of patronage and attention from people compared to the former. The Olympiad stands for the biggest chess tournament on the planet where great chess players such as chess Grandmasters and International Masters from different parts of the world come together to compete against each other. This tournament has produced world chess champions such as Garry Kasparov, Vishwanathan Anand, Veselin Topalov, Alexander Alekhine, Mikhail Botvinnik, Bobby Fischer, Machiagelis Euwe, Vladamir Kramnik, Judith Polgar, e.t.c. The Olympiad was established almost one century ago (unofficially though) and has enjoyed a considerable large amount of beneficiaries and ardent lovers of the game of chess. But in comparison to the Olympics which had been established a long time before the controversy of including chess arose. Even though this attempt failed participation in the biennial Chess Olympiad has increased considerably, but the question which can never be buried no matter what has arisen again. Looking at the polls conducted by another chess faithful known as Ed, the result of the polls seem to spark off a reincarnation of some sort as over 70% of chess and non-chess faithfuls are on the affirmative. It should stated here that the man Joseph Pisani-Rossi had not the famous and prolific title “Olympics” on his mind when he came up with the idea of “Olympiad”. Chess was obviously made for the Olympics; athleticism sometimes can be boring without any alternative for both the spectators and the participants. I mean as entertaining as soccer events, swimming events, hurdle events, e.t.c. can be a lot more fun has been reported to have been derived right from the Olympiad trials to the Olympiad event itself. There is so much fuss about the suspense created by the pre-game analysis that leaves so many tongues wagging, although the participants themselves do not brag about their abilities. But the chess boards bring to fore their in depth capabilities as they exude brilliancy and play a fast one on their opponent who probably is left helpless in mind-puzzling positions. With an estimated $30 million awarded to winners and runner-ups in the last five Chess Olympiad games it is far-fetched to say that chess business is not good business. This figure portends something very interesting about the inclusion of chess into the Olympics and I’m sure by now readers would have figured it out after reading the last sentence of the second paragraph of this write up. Chess would greatly increase the number of spectators and participants and inevitably more funds would be generated, most importantly an increased level of competition abounds in a newly adjusted event. The great Kasparov once attested to the fact that chess has been made slow in its all-round development because of the hidden qualities yet to be discovered by previous and present generation. The Olympiad has come to stay and would enjoy more patronage as the veil is gradually been pulled of our visages and we perceive the more about this very intriguing game. The Olympics would live on as athletes are born every day and the smart aleck are also born every day but the latter misses out to the Olympiad making the Olympic event unpopular in their opinion.
N.B. This article is written in favor of the kids who stand to gain the possibility of the game of Chess included in the Olympics or at worse a merger of both events in their time even if these older generation miss out on it as a result of engaging in other things. The kids stand a chance to benefit more from this huge leap investing in this school of thought would go a long way.
The Royalty Chess Academy has deemed itself responsible for spreading the gospel of chess concentrating majorly on the young lads and lasses; the leaders of tomorrow. We must focus on the every kid as their abilities should not be restricted to school textbooks; they have to put to full use the intellectual abilities endowed them by the Supreme Being. After close observation, the Academy has seen that there are prodigies to be established through the game which attracts attention of everybody who believes intellectual activities. This is why the Academy has come up with the Chess Academic Integrated System [CAIS] which entails including the very phenomenal game into every Basic and Secondary School’s curriculum. The prospects of a young lad who is able to make good use of his intellectual capabilities both in school and in his social environment as a result improving it in the game of chess are very high. www.royaltychessnation.com Chess kids are smart kids because the game itself requires some form of mental exercises; the game is made for the adept, the brains and the mentally swift. Chess carries a whole lot of features which is developed in the player’s mien and these features include adroitness, patience, pro-action, flexibility and in-depth disposition. Learning this very dramatic game gives an edge to one over others who are unwillingly to learn; as he is more mentally involved.
